'He'd be a diamond...'
Some of my favourite bits from the Brilliantly Birmingham festival of contemporary jewellery:
Emma Farnworth's laminated stamps - remind me a bit of Grainne Morton's stuff. I've asked for a laminator for Christmas. Then I'm laminating anything 2D which doesn't move...

Bryony Jennings - again appeals to the Grainne Morton fan in me. Lovely:

Anke Plath's hollowed-out silver stuffed with yarn fluff reminds me of the bits of Michael Brennand-Wood's work where he's carved lace patterns out of wood and stuffed the resulting channels with rags:

I liked the look of Bronwen Tyler-Jones' tiny Smartie shrine so much I went Googling to find more. Here are 'Chocolate Forever' (I think - the script is blurry), 'Air Fresheners', 'Emergency Chocolate Supply', and 'First Tooth Buggy':
