Am highly tickled to learn the quarterly journal of The Knitting & Crochet Guild is called SlipKnot. And now I want to get my knitting going again. But it's too hot...

And then there's my 'Why-can't-I-knit-like-Freddie-Robins?' complex...
And yet... (Note to self): 'My Godmother became my greatest inspiration. She was always making things, not frumpy, lumpy things that you hid in your wardrobe, but fashionable, desirable toys and clothes. She was a free spirit. She lived alone, was unmarried and just got on with her own thing. I associated textiles with her and therefore with individuality and freedom.'
