I have to rave briefly about Toast, a sarnie bar near my office. They do HOT FISH FINGER SANDWICHES!!! I haven't been able to make myself one in ages, being freezer-less. Oh joy!
It's a lovely place, too - fantastic variety on the menu and not too dear - and they make everything from scratch, in front of you (it's like culinary foreplay...). And they've given their sandwiches fabulous names - the Kate Moss has chicken breast, spinach and low fat mayo, the Eat My Shorts is peanut butter, jam and banana. Fancy houmous, grated carrot and roast peppers? Just pop in and ask for a Morrissey...
